The leathery surface at the top absorbs sweat and prevents the mat from becoming slippery. Thanks to its minimalist design, it offers a great balance in yoga poses without the need for a towel. Manduka GRP® technology, whose surface becomes more sticky as you sweat, is the most technical yoga mat ever made.

Sweat passes from this layer to the 2nd layer in the middle. The charcoal-infused rubber material acts as a natural deodorant. It eliminates the bad odor problem experienced in many other yoga mats.

The bottom 3rd layer filters sweat with 100% open airflow. Thus, there is no need for a yoga mat towel for intense yoga practices such as hot yoga, power yoga and Ashtanga yoga.
